Terms of Use

What you accept by using Varra or this website — written in the same plain terms as the privacy policy, and describing what the software actually does.

Effective 1 September 2026.

In short

Varra is a tool that helps you think, not an authority you can rely on. Its answers are not professional advice, and where a number matters you must check it against the code, the manual, or the specification that governs your work. The service is free today, given as-is, and can change or stop.

Who these terms are with

Syntur is a working name for a venture that is not yet incorporated. Until incorporation, these terms are between you and Benson Kraft, contactable at benson@carboncircuitintelligence.com. This section will name the company once it is formed, and the change will be noted here.

What Varra is, and what it is not

Varra is a software assistant. It answers questions, and on a small set of values it defers to a verified reference table instead of answering from the model's own memory. Where it does, the answer says so.

It is not a licensed electrician, carpenter, mechanic, engineer, inspector, lawyer or doctor, and nothing it returns is professional advice. Reference values published here and used by the engine are general-purpose figures, deliberately conservative, and they cannot account for the conditions of your specific job. Electrical figures in particular vary with insulation rating, ambient temperature and conductor bundling, and are subject to the National Electrical Code as adopted and amended by your local authority having jurisdiction.

Verify every figure that carries a consequence before you act on it. You are responsible for the work you do and for the decisions you make with anything Varra tells you.

Accounts

Using Varra requires an account, so your conversations persist between sessions. You are responsible for keeping your credentials to yourself and for what happens under your account. Give accurate information when you register, and tell us if you believe your account has been used by someone else.

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. Varra is not intended for children; see the privacy policy's Children section.

Acceptable use

Do not use Varra to break the law, to harm people, or to get around the limits of the service. Specifically, do not:

Availability

There is no uptime commitment. The service is in active development, runs on infrastructure operated by third parties, and may be slow, interrupted, changed, or withdrawn without notice. Features described on this site as planned may never ship. Where the state of something is material, the status page says where it actually stands.

Pricing and billing

Varra is free to use today. The Pro and Business tiers shown on the pricing page are built and visible in the application, but billing is not switched on: nothing on this site is purchasable, no payment details are collected, and no charge can be made. If that changes, the pricing page and the application will change together, and continued use after a paid tier is enabled will never itself be treated as agreement to pay for one.

Your content

What you write to Varra stays yours. To operate the service, you give permission to store your messages and to transmit them, along with the earlier turns of that conversation, to the third-party model provider named on the Overview page, so a reply can be generated. Nothing you write is sold, shared for advertising, or used to train models. The privacy policy describes this in full and governs it.

Our content

The software, this website, and the names Syntur, Varra and Lucentra are ours; those names are working names pending formal trademark clearance. You may read, quote and link to the published reference tables freely, with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale or present it as your own.

Answers Varra generates for you are yours to use, subject to the verification duty above.

No warranty

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. No statement anywhere on this site or in the application creates a warranty.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or property damage or personal injury arising from your use of the service or your reliance on anything it returns. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid for the service — which today is nothing — or 50 US dollars.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Varra at any time, and can ask for your account and its conversations to be deleted — see Retention and deletion. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to attack or overload the service, or where we are required to.

Changes to these terms

These terms will change as the company and the product do. The effective date at the top marks the current version, and a change that materially affects you will be announced in the application before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Syntur is incorporated. Until incorporation, that jurisdiction has not been fixed, and this section will name it once it has. Nothing here removes a consumer protection that the law where you live gives you regardless.
