Relay
Relay is where an approved action leaves Syntur’s systems. Today it does one thing: it takes one exact, current owner approval and makes one attempt to send one plain-text email through a Gmail connection the owner authorized separately from signing in.

Availability Eligible accounts Not a public product
Relay is available in Varra to eligible accounts and is not generally available; broader availability is being built. It is not offered as a standalone execution platform.
What it does today
One recipient, no attachments, and an attempt that is never automatically retried. Relay consumes one exact, current approval and makes one attempt to send one plain-text email through a separately authorized Gmail connection.
In Varra, eligible accounts can prepare a plain-text email from a Work Item, approve it, and have Relay make one attempt to send it through their Gmail connection. An email prepared from a Work Item is sent only after its owner approves it.
The approval it acts on
An owner approves or rejects one immutable proposed action with a fixed expiry. In Varra, eligible accounts do this for an email before Relay sends it; otherwise it is reachable only through the engine’s API. An approval covers that one action and nothing else. No team roles, delegation or organizational policy.
Being able to send is not the same as being authorized to: Relay acts only on an approval, never on its own judgment.
Production proof
Relay has completed a production founder proof: an explicitly approved plain-text Gmail send received provider acknowledgement and independently verified inbox delivery. Gmail authorization is working in production, and the proof covers this one approved send path on the founder’s own account.
The Gmail connection
It is the engine’s one connector, used only by Relay. The connection only sends; it reads no mail. Sign-in with Google remains identity-only (openid email profile) and reads no mail and no files. Gmail connection in the privacy policy →
