Syntur is an intelligent infrastructure company. It is building the systems that connect intelligence, operational work, controlled execution and evidence. Varra is the core engine behind that work.
About
Syntur was established in 2026. Its focus is business automation: agents, controlled execution, evaluation, training infrastructure, and systems that improve over time — built so that what a system is allowed to do, and what it can show for its work, are explicit rather than assumed.
Varra is Syntur’s core intelligence and automation engine, and it is the part that is public today. It is not the whole of the company: the infrastructure beneath it, the research around it, and the business workflows it is being built toward are described on their own pages, each with its real status. Syntur, Varra and Lucentra are working names pending formal trademark clearance.
Leadership
Benson Kraft is the founder of Syntur and leads its product vision, system architecture and long-term strategy.
Progress: what has been built
Named plainly, with the availability of each. The dated record is build status.
- Varra, publicly usable. A deployed web application with real accounts, document and image input, web search, and sixteen selectable work modes. Free today.
- Work Items and outcome records. Public in Varra, created and closed by hand.
- Published, checked reference data. Two reference tables whose values are compared against the engine on every change.
- Execution foundations. Durable agent runs, deterministic Assurance verdicts, a record-only runtime step, exact-action approvals, and a narrow Relay path for one approved email. Built in the engine, reachable only through its API, and not available in Varra.
- Internal evaluation and training tooling. Router eval sets, and offline tooling for preparing and running fine-tuning experiments. Internal only; no trained Syntur model is in use.
Development direction
What comes next is ordered by dependency, not by date: widen what can be checked, make approvals and permissions organisational rather than per action, give agents a product surface, and only then broaden where approved work can be carried out.
