Varra Business

Varra for an organization: a shared workspace with the company’s own context, controls for a team, and connections to the systems the company already runs. It is in development. This page says what it is meant to be, what exists toward it today, and what does not exist yet.

The offering

One person’s Varra, made to work for a company.

What it is intended to be

Varra today is used one account at a time. Each person’s account reference values, Work Items and approvals belong to that account, and nothing is shared with a team. Varra Business is intended to change that: a company workspace that holds the organization’s own context and terminology, policies and permissions that decide who may do what, and connections to the business systems the company already uses.

Varra Business is being designed for teams managing document-heavy operations, financial work, approvals and administrative processes. Its long-term purpose is to give organizations shared context, controlled execution and accountability across the systems they already use. This describes the intended offering. None of it is available today, and what does exist is listed below.

Today

What exists, for one account at a time.

What exists toward it

Live is in Varra now. Partly live means part of the line is in Varra now, and the line says which part. Limited means available only in a narrow form or to eligible accounts. Planned means not built.

  • LiveAccount reference values. Values you have checked are stored per account and override Varra’s built-in tables and the model’s own memory. They belong to one account, not to a company.
  • LiveWork Items, by hand. A piece of work can be created, tracked and resolved as a durable record. Nothing creates or acts on one automatically.
  • LimitedExact-action approval. The account owner approves or rejects one specific proposed action before it happens. In Varra, eligible accounts use this for email. There are no team roles, delegation or organizational policy.
  • LimitedSending approved email through Gmail. For eligible accounts, Relay sends one approved plain-text email per approval through a Gmail connection the owner authorized. It reads no mail. It is not generally available, and it is the only external system Varra connects to today.
  • Partly liveVarra Assurance. Where an answer’s key figure matches a verified table, the table’s value replaces the model’s and the answer says so. Three of the sixteen work modes carry such a table, so most answers are not independently verified.

What Varra Business would add

  • PlannedA company workspace. The organization’s own context and terminology, shared by its users. There is no company workspace in Varra today.
  • PlannedPolicies and permissions. Rules an administrator sets for who may approve, send or change what. Today the only control is one owner approving one action.
  • PlannedConnected business systems. Storage, project management, accounting and other systems a company already runs. None is connected; the Gmail connection above is the only one.
  • PlannedBusiness Skills. Skills for work such as invoices, documents and financial analysis, offered as part of the tier. Some are registered in the engine; none is offered as a Business feature.
  • PlannedAssurance controls. An organization choosing what has to be checked before work comes back to it.
  • PlannedAdministration and billing. An admin console, centralized billing and priority support. Billing is not enabled for any tier.

No dates are given for any of these. When one changes, it changes first on Build status.

Before you plan around it

What this page is not

  • Not an offer. Varra Business is not for sale, and the proposed price is not a quote.
  • Not a feature list. Only the lines marked Live, Partly live or Limited exist, and each is scoped as written. Everything marked Planned does not exist.
  • Free today. Varra itself is free to use with an account, and that is the only way to use it now.
